We hit 14 degrees here today, the lake was still water as it was 12 days ago but very high winds. Power was restored moments ago after a 6 hr outage. Polished off some ice cream to make sure it wouldn’t melt. After the power flickered for about 5 min, which was odd, we went out onto the deck and saw a fire on Anstruther Rd, a tree had fallen on a power line and caught fire. Heard a kaboom so called 911 but it went out on its own before they arrived.
For those of you wanting to see the lake on the webcam, we always have hiccups after power failures so will try to have it restored by boxing day.
One boat remains in the water (ours), but it comes out on Monday.
